Norseman At the heart of the Shire is Norseman, the gateway to WA. Whether you are beginning your Nullarbor journey or reaching its end, Norseman is the perfect place to pause, recharge, and prepare. Spend a few days exploring the heritage trails, marvelling at the granite outcrops, and uncovering stories through historical displays. Visitors can also discover the town’s creative side through stunning murals, relax in shady parks, cool off at the aquatic centre, or enjoy a coffee and meal in one of the local cafés. Essential services, supplies, and a supermarket make Norseman an ideal stopover for travellers. A must-visit is the Woodlands Cultural, Community and Visitor Centre, where friendly staff can provide up-to-date tourist information. The centre itself is an attraction, with interpretive displays, murals, artefacts, and photography that showcase the landscapes and history of the Shire.

The Nullarbor Beyond Norseman lies the adventure of the Nullarbor journey, a road trip like no other. Highlights include the iconic 90 Mile Straight, Caiguna Blowhole and Madura Pass.
