Bruce Rock delivers an exciting experience for travellers that enjoy picnicking, bushwalking and camping under bright starry skies or resting in a town with great facilities and friendly people. Take a walk through Remembrance Park which pays tribute to the men and women who served and continue to serve Australia, and spend time taking in the memorials and sculptures throughout the park. Call in to Kokerbin Rock - a massive monolith with amazing views and a great nature spot. The community of Quairading is vibrant, friendly and ready and waiting for you to call in for a visit. With a townsite boasting beautiful gardens and colourful new park and playground - Kwirrading Koort, and the magnificent “El Toro” a very handsome half tonne Spanish bull located in the centre of town, and Nookaminnie Rock Nature Reserve and Rowlie Mellor Walk Trails, Quairading has something for every traveller. The Pathways to Wave Rock self-drive trail travels through a region that is enriched with beautiful wildflowers in late winter/early spring, camping areas, granite outcrops, walking trails and historical buildings. Travel to Wave Rock via Lake Grace, experiencing wide open spaces, dark night skies, vast salt lakes and friendly country towns. View the expansive salt lake of Lake Grace and take in the atmosphere of an early 20th century hospital when you visit the only remaining Australian Inland Mission Hospital in the state. Don’t miss a stop off at the PUBLIC Silo Trail in Newdegate and the Bush Tractor Museum in Lake King. Although internationally known for Wave Rock, there is so much for travellers to do in and around the well-equipped and thriving community of Hyden. Experience excellent accommodation, amazing rock formations, dazzling seasonal wildflowers and clear starry nights. Located between Wave Rock and the Great Eastern Highway, Narembeen is the perfect place to explore. Discover a rich history at the Narembeen Civic Precinct with the many museums on offer and street murals and artworks to impress. Take a walk or bike ride around the lake and experience a night tour at Wadderin Wildlife park.

Your Wheatbelt experience begins when you leave Perth and head to the historic town of Beverley, one of WA’s oldest settlements, full of history, culture and character. This vibrant town is home to a thriving arts community with galleries, live performances and street art. Go gliding, walk the award-winning Heritage Trail, or check out a museum or exhibition. The town of Corrigin is a grain and grazing town, nestled in the heart of the Wheatbelt only 235km south east of Perth on the Brookton Highway. Corrigin has a rich agricultural heritage, and boasts a friendly atmosphere for both residents and visitors. Home to the iconic Dog Cemetery, the Pioneer Museum and a spectacular Wildflower Drive (in season). Kondinin, traversed in 1848 by Surveyor General J.S. Roe, was first settled in 1909. Preservation of a number of original buildings has enhanced the town centre, and recent murals and artworks have added another experience to this town. Stop and stroll through the community garden or visit well known Yeerakine Rock. Great facilities and friendly people make Kondinin a great spot to break your journey.
